It started out as a really nice afternoon, the sun was shining and I enjoyed this holiday with a late lunch in my favourite downtown Budapest café, listening to Paolo Conte and reading a book.
cuba
With Fidel becoming older and older the time to see and experience Cuba as it is today is slowly but surely running out. I believe that this is the last chance to see the real Cuba before it will change. At the same time somebody told me the other day that to see the real Cuba one would have had to travel there in the 1950s.
drawing lessons
Currently my Dad is here in Budapest to help me with some refurbishments in my apartment. This included a trip to one of the OBI hardware stores. At the information desk a hardly motivated guy is typing something into a computer.
bureaucratic obstacles
Getting my Hungarian ID card and all related and relevant papers for work was a real quest which took more than 3 months.
