cruising the medina
My new-found friend Ahmed giving me a lift in the incredible maze that is the medina in Marrakech.
mastering the medina
Before I headed to Marrakech I did my usual research. I researched on what to see, where to eat, what not to miss and of course where to stay. I pulled up my GoogleEarth map to get an overview of the medina, the old town of Marrakech. Unfortunately, the map didn’t prove very helpful and I would later learn why exactly it’s just a grey and whitish spot in the middle of Marrakech.
german wunderland
By now, many of you have probably been to Munich (if not – see my previous blog about the Heart of Munich) and you have hopefully been to Berlin. You may have even been to Frankfurt. But how about Wiesbaden? I’m guessing… probably not.
miscellaneous travel (2004-2007)
A selection of my favorite travel pictures between 2004 and 2007.
the revolution will be televised
It started out as a really nice afternoon, the sun was shining and I enjoyed this holiday with a late lunch in my favourite downtown Budapest café, listening to Paolo Conte and reading a book.

Currently my Dad is here in Budapest to help me with some refurbishments in my apartment. This included a trip to one of the OBI hardware stores. At the information desk a hardly motivated guy is typing something into a computer.
