bureaucratic obstacles
Getting my Hungarian ID card and all related and relevant papers for work was a real quest which took more than 3 months.
hit the tyre
I was standing on the sidewalk talking to an old friend when a guy approached us asking if the car blocking his and hindering him from leaving was ours. We denied but my friend had a good idea of how to catch the car’s owner’s attention.
attila the great
A guy walks up to me from behind and asks me for a lighter. Me: “Sorry, I don’t smoke”.
enjoy
It’s the little surprises in this country that make life so interesting every day.
józsi bácsi
Józsi Bácsi doesn’t speak any Spanish. Why would he anyway? He is a simple, chubby man with a dirty apron who works at a sausage stall on Vörösmarty Square in the center of Budapest (one of the best for grilled kolbász, if you ask me).
p!nk in budapest
Rather spontaneously yesterday I decided to attend P!NK’s Budapest concert in the Sport Arena yesterday. I am not that much a fan of her songs to be honest (I actually only know one or two songs) but I think that she is a terribly hot babe and I felt like taking the opportunity to see her live.
hungarian streets
While driving on the highway at 100km/h, a motorbike overtakes us by pulling a wheelie in the right lane.
