one night in… Paris

Paris is probably the only city in the world you don’t need to convince anyone to visit. As Audrey Hepburn famously said, “Paris is always a good idea” and the array of cultural, architectural and social venues that make the city so fabulous would go beyond the constraints of this blog.

The more important question therefore is where to stay: there are numerous options, from charming inns to the city’s five Grande Dames, the legendary palace hotels. My recommendation is the discreet, quietly chic Le Burgundy, located just steps from rue Saint-Honoré. Blending contemporary furniture and a collection of modern art with typical Parisian elements, it features a unique charm.

But you’re here to see Paris, non? I say skip Paris and instead relax in the hotel’s top floor 70sqm Appartement Suite. It’s your Parisian apartment you never knew you had.

Open the bay windows leading to an intimate terrace and make yourself comfortable in the spacious living room, sip some champagne and taste some homemade macaroons (a must try is the restaurant’s Crème Brulée, officially the best I ever had!) or simply unwind in the immense Jacuzzi, offering views of the sky above…

This is Paris at it’s best and actually it’s a shame to stay just one night.
